LifePoint met at Lincoln Middle School on Easter Sunday so we could have a joint service! It was awesome seeing everyone together! I also found it refreshing to see how hard everyone worked all week & weekend to make it happen. I am proud to call LifePoint my home! Here are a couple of pics from worship:
I decided to post a few other random pics. Kyle made my day today by pointing out that we have some flowers popping up in our front yard. This is what most of it looks like right now: (it hasn't had love since before last summer when the others were still here....lots of work to be done soon!)
Here are the pretty flowers:
No purpose for this photo...it's just funny. It's a has-been if you read Doug's blog. Kyle & the James' dog, Twinkie, playing tug-o-straw.

House Guests!!!
I remember back in my young days of HS when I thought that if two people loved each other it didn't really matter what their families were like. After experiences & revelations I realized that for me...that is SO not true. Luckily, I love Kyle's family just as much as mine and enjoy any time that we get to hang out with them. Last weekend Mike, Valinda, and Kevin all flew in from TX and David, Misty, and Ryan (uncle, aunt, cousin) drove in from OK. We had a great time with them...the time just went by WAY too fast. We also did some things in St.Louis we had never done before! (toured the brewery...went up in the arch...) I thought I'd post some pics of our adventures.
The best part of the brewery was seeing the horses & dalmations: (plus the dalmation loved us because we smelled like JoJo & Mariah) P.S. The brewery was soooo amazing clean everywhere!!
I thought it was neat you could see the bottom of the arch from the top.
Busch Stadium from the arch.
Us all squeezing into the little egg-like tram. (Kyle took the pic but he actually fit in there too!) Apparently Ryan and I had the same "special" chocolate gravy that morning.
Thanks to the help of some really great guys (Greg James, Kyle, Jeff Klee) my boxes were completed for our living room wall. They did an awesome job and they worked VERY hard to get them up before the guests came in!! I know previously I said I was going to nail boards to make them....but when I went to get help from Greg about what I needed to do...HE LAUGHED AT ME. Can you believe that? He told me to just let him handle it. So thanks guys!!
