Want an awesome, FREE site to help you become healthier and fit???? Check it out:
SparkPeople
If you are willing to take a little time to track your eating and exercising, this site can help you become aware of your health & help you reach goals.
It reminds me a lot of the weight watchers online site minus the whole points thing. And it's FREEEEEEEEE! It is a little bit difficult to navigate at first, but once you figure out the main sections you'll be good! If you want to go all out, you can use the community section to connect with other people using the site.
Features:
- Enter height, weight, and goal weight (gain or lose)
- Tools to give you goal date if you enter lbs to gain/lose & how many per week or give you goal weight if you give date & weekly lbs
- Site auto sets calories, fat grams, protein, etc. you should have each day/week (adjustable)
- Site auto sets how many calories you need to burn a week (adjustable)
- Meal tracker with pre-set meals or enter your own
- Exercise tracker
- Exercise plans (cardio and strength training)
- Recipes & recipe box (printable shopping list too!)
- Recipe builder...you put in your own recipe & it calculates nutrition info
- Tracks your weekly weight and measurements (you can choose what to measure...even a printable measuring tape!)
Your health is worth the time! I suggest using it atleast for a little bit to learn what you are really putting in & working out!

Slacker
So I've totally been slacking on the blogging world. I know my millions of readers will lose interest if I don't keep it up so I better get with it and find something of interest to blog about! :)
Kyle and I had an awesome Easter! Both of our families came up and we had a HUGE slumber party. LifePoint was awesome...had a great turn out! We started Lifegroups with our LifeKidz this past week and it went really, really well. I think our kids are going to benefit greatly from their own small group time!
We are praising God that baby Sam is all better! 16 days in the hospital is a LONG time...especially when 12 of those you have a breathing tube in. I don't know how Jeff & Jaime still have their sanity...they are definitely exceptional parents! Kyle & I went over with Doug & Vange to see them last Sunday and it was so good to see Sammy full of energy! He went absolutely CRAZY over the ice cream. He looks all calm in the picture...he was attacking that thing!!
He also licked every last bit of cheese off of Doug's empty mac & cheese container. Priceless!
Ice cream and mac & cheese...my kind of kid!!

Just a Parker Update
Here's a Parker update from the past couple of weeks:
1 - One of our very good family friends, Katie Chapman, came to visit us in St. Louis. She came up to check things out and ride home with Brooke for her spring break. We took her to the arch although our indecisiveness made us miss the last tram up! :) I know everyone here thinks it's no big deal...but it's a pretty cool thing for us peeps that aren't used to seeing it everyday!
2 - LifePoint has had 2 successful weeks now in the theater. We had a great crowd our first week in and set up and break down all went smoothly! There were no train wrecks so we were very thankful! The volunteers did an AWESOME job. We had tons of time left!! Week 2 was awesome too. I am amazed at how quickly they can get it all up and down...they make it look so easy! Our people rock!!! Here is a video I stole off of Bob's blog from this past week showing an overview of what the theater looks like for us:

3 - My sister got a job at Amarillo River Road and I am super proud of her. I am expecting God to do some cool things in and through her in Amarillo! She is going to be an awesome HS math teacher! I'm also jealous at the fact I can't find an opening anywhere for middle school math up here...and she interviews one day and has a job the next! LUCKY!
